ORGANIZATIONS
The True Kings of Aerth
"Those who would claim a crown had best be ready to defend it."
The True Kings are an anarchic organization who holds the philosophy that no man is born better than any other. This could be a grand sentiment that promotes fighting for justice and equal rights, but the group tends to take it to the most violent extreme. They believe that no man holds any authority he did not fight for, and work to overthrow hereditary kingdoms no matter how the common people feel about the ruler. It is believed they have a hand in the assassination of many nobles and high-ranking officials, fund or promote military uprisings, and take full credit for the death of King Alexei Karameikos of Bastion that led to a civil war.
One of their bases of operations is in the city of Seapoint, where many actually accept them as well-intentioned for their efforts in keeping the Northern Highlands free of encroaching rulers and the laws and taxes that inevitably come with them.

The Free League
This mercenary organization operates in many parts of the world, with the primary purpose of trading in slaves. They claim otherwise where such things are frowned upon, and maintain their status as a mercenary company to excuse their presence where they need to. Even so, it is widely known that they sell slaves in the ports of Seapoint and many other cities that have no qualms about human trafficking.
There are many cities or countries in which slavery is outlawed, and in some of these places a Free Leaguer will likely receive a summary execution.
Their symbol is a black falcon over a golden band. When branded into the back of a new slave, it resembles a triangle over a circle.
